At noon on November 16, 2018, the inaugural meeting of the first Postgraduate Student Union of An De College was successfully held in the lecture hall of An De College. Executive Dean of An De College, Xiong Zhongming, Party Secretary and Vice Dean, Liu Yanzheng, Vice Dean, Zhao Lei, Director of the Office of Administrative Affairs, Zheng Tao, Director of the Students’ Affairs Office, Sun Lingtong, Undergraduate Counselor, Zhang Jiawen, and representatives from the Student Union and all the 2018 postgraduates of An De College participated. The meeting was hosted by Mi Tao, director of the Postgraduate Affairs Office.

The meeting kicked off in the solemn national anthem. First of all, Liu Yanzheng, read out the list of the first postgraduate student union cadres, and emphasized that the cadres are elected through the students' democratic elections. They are the representatives of the graduate students. Be sure not to forget your heart and work hard. Xiong Zhongming, executive dean of An De College, and Zhao Lei, deputy director, presented the letters of appointment for the student cadres.

Subsequently, Yao Zhuodi, the chairman of the postgraduate union spoke on behalf of the postgraduates. He said that as a graduate student cadre, he felt responsible and had a glorious mission. They will not forget the initial intention, help the college reform, construct and develop; Strive to become a high-level international talent for the construction and management of smart cities in the future.

Finally, Xiong Zhongming spoke. He expressed the hope that all graduate student cadres will establish a sense of the overall situation, enhance their sense of service, and strengthen their sense of responsibility. With the spirit of dedication and pioneering spirit, they will do well in the graduate school.
