About me:
Danielle earned a Double Degree in Law and Civil Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of South Australia and subsequently gained admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia. Her professional journey spans roles in both civil engineering and law in both Australia and also internationally. She is an active member of Engineers Australia, where she currently serves on the College of Leadership and Management.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Danielle volunteers as a Justice of the Peace in South Australia. She is passionate about advancing women in STEM fields and is a regular lecturer on topics across Law, Engineering, and Construction Management. Danielle champions the integration of industry and academia to drive research outcomes that respond directly to user needs.
Danielle is currently advancing her academic career by pursuing a PhD at the University of South Australia. Her research, a collaborative effort between the School of Law (Justice and Society) and the Future Industries Institute, investigates the legal liabilities in Australia’s recycled water sector, aiming to make impactful contributions to policy and industry practices.
