On the morning of June 22, Gabrielle Roland, Director of International Department, University of South Australia, together with 7 other officials and staff from UniSA and AEMG visited An De College. Executive Dean of An De College, Xiong Zhongming, Party branch secretary and Vice Dean, Liu Yanzheng, Vice Deans Zhao Lei and Wang Chunmei and related staff also attended the meeting.
Executive Dean, Prof. Xiong first welcomed the arrival of Gabrielle Roland and her delegation, and briefly introduced the recent work of the college. Subsequently, the two sides communicated on specific topics such as teaching in English, co-constructing and imported courses, campus open days, and summer visits. The two sides put forward suggestions for improving the problems existing in English teaching, implemented the 2018 fall semester joint curriculum and introduced courses, the information of the teachers of the University of South Australia and the arrangement of the joint teaching hours, and put forward the status of the network hardware construction of the college. The specific requirements laid the foundation for ensuring and improving the teaching quality of An De College.
In the afternoon, Professor Duncan Campbell, Professor Duan Jinming, Nelson Ng visited the Laboratory of the College of Information Controls at Caotang Campus. They also had a meeting with the students. Prof. Duncan Campbell and Academic Director Duan Jinming gave a brief introduction to the basic situation, teaching environment and teaching methods of the University of South Australia School of Engineering, and answered the questions raised by the students.
The visit of the University of South Australia has promoted mutual understanding, strengthened supervision of teaching effects and consolidated the foundation of cooperation. At the same time, it also effectively promoted the enrollment work of An De College, deepened the students' understanding of the University of South Australia and Adelaide, and improved the enthusiasm of students to apply for examination.
