About An De


Approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology University of South Australia An De College (An De College) is a Sino-Foreign cooperative joint college established by Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT) and the University of South Australia (UniSA). It is the first Chinese-Foreign cooperative educational institution that provides both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the northwest region of China. An De College aims to create an elite international teaching faculty through the joint efforts of both universities, and to introduce advanced foreign education concepts and high-quality international education resources to its students.

 

Benefiting from both universities’ areas of expertise in environmental science and engineering, civil engineering and etc., An De College gives students access to international teaching facilities and a world-class learning environment to ensure they graduate with a cutting-edge international qualification. Against the background of the Belt and Road Initiative, and its focus on western China, An De College will produce outstanding graduates who have an international outlook and the skills and knowledge to construct and manage future smart cities.

 

Located in the Caotang Campus of XAUAT, An De College offers “4+0” and “2+2” undergraduate programs in the areas of Civil Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science and Technology, and Building Electrical and Intelligence. Students who are academically qualified and meet the conferral requirements will be awarded a bachelor degree and graduation certificate from XAUAT. The University of South Australia is committed to investigating new teaching degrees in China and exploring further degree options at An De College, including the possibility of awarding a University of South Australia bachelor degree to An De College undergraduate students.

 

An De College also offers “1+1+1” postgraduate programs in the areas of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Students who meet the conferral requirements of both XAUAT and the University of South Australia will be awarded the relevant master degree and graduation certificate from both universities.
